Yororis — en construction
Un espace d'écoute avec un visage et une voix, propulsé par le pack bien-être d'Orazaka — ce que c'est, ce que ce n'est pas, et ce qui est étudié avant toute mise à disposition.
Under construction. We're building Yororis in the open and studying its framework — legal, ethical, clinical — before making it available. Nothing is live, nothing is offered, and there is no date.
What Yororis is
A listening space with a face and a voice. A person opens a moment with a presence: an AI presence with a first name, an animated portrait that carries a permanent "AI" mark, a voice and exact subtitles. The presence listens, reflects back, asks one question at a time and helps put words on what is being lived.
- A presence that stops. A moment lasts up to 25 minutes; there is one a day and three a week by default. The organisation that offers Yororis sets these limits for its members, the server applies them, the screen shows them.
- What I keep. When the moment closes, the transcript is gone. What remains is three lines the person reads, edits or deletes, and the mood they gave themselves before and after — that becomes the thread of the next moment.
- One page to bring along. The person can export what they kept as one page, for the people who support them.
What Yororis is not
- Not care: Yororis makes no health claim and replaces no one who supports you.
- Not an emergency service: in a crisis, people trained to listen answer right away.
- Not a person: an AI presence that says so, every time.
Not care, not an emergency service, not a person. In a crisis in Canada, call or text 9-8-8 — in Québec, 811 (Info-Social).
The controls it inherits from Orazaka
Every AI call goes through Orazaka's wellbeing pack — Yororis has no other AI provider, and the guards live in the engine, not in a prompt (ADR-055).
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Versioned consent | No consent to the current statement, no moment: the engine answers 451 with the statement itself. |
| Crisis guard | Runs first, cannot be switched off; the answer is fixed and reviewed, with a sourced and dated regional line — never generated. |
| Scope guard | What is outside a listening space is declined, word for word. |
| Age attestation | 18+, recorded with the consent. |
| Retention and audit | 30 days (shorter on request), encryption, an append-only audit. |
Yororis adds its own: the limits applied by the server, the transcript destroyed at the summary, a mood that is only ever self-reported (nothing is inferred), export and deletion by the person, aggregate statistics only.
What is being studied
Questions, not conclusions — answered with a lawyer before anything is offered to anyone:
- Québec — the reserved title and act; Law 25: privacy impact, consent, retention, hosting.
- Canada — Health Canada's rules for software; federal privacy law; what may be said to organisations.
- France and the European Union — the AI Act (telling people they talk to an AI, reading emotions); GDPR article 9.
- Belgium — the same European questions, and the crisis lines of both language communities.
- Everywhere — the conditions of a pilot with outside people, and insurance.
Construction mode, in the code
- Both repositories — krizaka/yororis and krizaka/yororis-mobile — open with the status above; their CI fails without it, and fails on any workflow that deploys or publishes.
- The application will refuse to start in production without the reference of a written, signed decision.
- No open accounts: an invitation is required, and only the maintainers and a fictional demo cast have one.
- On krizaka.com, one call to action: talk to us about Yororis.
The full framework lives in the repository: docs/FRAMEWORK.md.
